At Rumielle Scholars & Co., we are committed to delivering high-quality tutoring and childcare services with professionalism and care. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and this Refund Policy outlines how we handle cancellations and refund requests.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of our services — which require preparation, reserved time, and limited availability — refunds are not automatically guaranteed and are issued only under specific conditions outlined below.

2. Cancellations and Refund Eligibility

A. Client-Initiated Cancellations

• Clients may cancel a scheduled session with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full credit toward a future service or a full refund upon request.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable unless due to a documented emergency (reviewed case-by-case).

B. Missed Appointments / No-Shows

• No-shows or missed appointments without prior notice will not be refunded or credited.

• Repeated no-shows may result in loss of future booking privileges.

C. Tutor/Sitter-Initiated Cancellations

• In the rare case that Rumielle Scholars & Co. must cancel a session, clients will receive the option to:

  • Reschedule at no additional cost, or

  • Receive a full refund for the missed session.

3. Service Satisfaction

We strive for excellence and encourage feedback. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of service, please contact us within 48 hours of your session so we can review the situation and determine whether a refund, credit, or adjustment is appropriate.

4. Digital Services 

For digital or virtual services (e.g., online tutoring), the same refund and cancellation terms apply. Technical issues on our end will be addressed promptly and rescheduled or refunded as needed.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email contact@rumiellescholarsandco.com with the following:

• Your full name

• Date and time of service

• Reason for refund request

• Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.

6. Modifications to This Policy

Rumielle Scholars & Co. reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
